Climbing Technology RollNLock is an ultra-lightweight multi-purpose device for mountaineering, rope work, rescue, and self-rescue. Compact and manageable, it can be used in three different modes: ascender, pulley, or recovery pulley.
Main features include the new geometry and the different coloring of the side plates that make its use even more intuitive; it allows the ascent of a rope in accordance with EN 567 / EN 12841-B standards (ascender mode); thanks to the ability to lock the cam, it can be used as a simple pulley for lifting or transferring a load in accordance with EN 12278 standard (pulley mode); it allows for the direct recovery of a load, the creation of hoists, and the lifting or self-lifting of a person, for example in the case of a fall into a crevasse (recovery pulley mode); in pulley mode, the rope is free to slide in both directions, while in recovery pulley mode it is free to slide in one direction and locks in the opposite direction; switching from one mode to another is intuitive and can be done even while wearing gloves or in adverse conditions; its compact size and lightweight make it an ideal tool to always keep attached to the harness for any eventuality.
