DMM Wallnut Set 1-6 climbing nuts
DMM Wallnut SET 1-6 are high-quality mobile protections for climbing. A different alloy is used for each size: the smaller nuts are made with a harder alloy to prevent detachment, while the larger ones are softer to bite well into the placement, and the latter have a hollow structure to reduce weight.
These nuts can be placed in two different orientations, allowing a single nut to cover a wide range of cracks. They are tapered on both the face and the sides, which helps them to position better in cracks that rarely have perfectly parallel sides. The grooved faces reduce weight, help the nut to position better in the cracks, improve safety in shallow placements, and resist lifting when the lead climber advances.
The cables are stiff enough to allow high placement, but flexible enough to reduce the chances of lifting. They are color-coded to match the rest of our range of protections and to allow for quick and easy selection of the correct size from the harness.
The set 1-6 features the intermediate sizes.
