Edelrid Mago 8 belay plate descender climbing gear
Edelrid Mago 8 is a multipurpose belay plate, useful for belaying the lead rope, for belaying one or two seconds, and for abseiling.
The particular geometry allows you different friction modes, making it possible to precisely adjust the speed of rappelling. Its strong point is the versatility given by the ultralight and compact design that also guarantees you a minimum weight and reduced dimensions.
