Its name refers to the Picot, a bird known for its sharp and precisely shaped beak. • Optimized geometry: With a hot-forged design, the Picot Curve facilitates rope insertion and offers an exceptional opening of 28 mm. • Easy opening: The hot-forged design of the Picot Straight provides a wide contact area for the thumb that eases opening. • Extended set lifespan: With a width of 11 mm, it creates a wider radius for the rope to bend over the carabiner, reducing wear and extending the lifespan of both the rope and the carabiner. • No snagging: The bottom of the nose is smoothed to facilitate removal from the screw and the rope. • Tapered nose: Its sharp nose allows for precise and smooth insertion into holds or other connection points without obstruction, facilitating removal during disassembly. • Keylock: Prevents snagging with the rope or webbing during insertion. • Double anti-twist: Present on the carabiner on the webbing side, with a relief on the body and another on the nose, reducing the possibility of rotation and preventing the webbing from slipping, ensuring correct positioning in all circumstances. • Strength: 22 kN closed, 8 kN against the spine, and 8 kN with the gate open (EN 12275).
