The Air Tech LT New-Matic Evo by Grivel is a lightweight semi-automatic crampon made of steel with 12 points, designed for classic mountaineering and glacier excursions, serving as a perfectly balanced tool for general mountaineering. Its solid 12-point structure ensures stable and secure traction on ice, snow, and mixed terrain, accommodating every step for controlled movement in any high-altitude condition. The refined LT construction minimizes the overall weight of the frame through optimized material thickness, excellently preserving the durability of the crampon under repeated use. To prevent the risk of slipping caused by the formation of snow buildup, a proactive Antibott system is present on both the front and rear sections. This model utilizes the proven New-Matic Evo attachment system (marked NM), consisting of a flexible plastic front cage and a rear closure with a micrometric lever, ideal for all mountain boots equipped with a quick-attach insert located solely on the heel. With a total weight of 820 grams per pair and a fit ranging from sizes 35 to 46, the tool is CE EN 893 and UIAA 153 certified. Finally, it features the Grivel Crampon System technology, which allows for configuration variations with interchangeable components and compatible accessories sold separately.
