The Grivel Mutant helmet is an ultralight helmet ideal for mountaineering, rock climbing, and ice climbing, designed to provide essential protection during fast alpine progression. This model boasts a cutting-edge construction in expanded polypropylene that ensures extremely effective impact absorption while keeping the weight to a minimum, while a specific ABS reinforcement on the top significantly increases resistance and durability in the most exposed areas of the head. Its special structure is designed to optimally protect both the top and sides of the head, while ensuring excellent ventilation thanks to a constant airflow. The minimal adjustment system not only reduces bulk when worn but also allows for compact storage inside the backpack when the helmet is not in use. The fit is exceptionally stable, precise, and comfortable thanks to the availability of multiple sizes that perfectly adapt to different head shapes. The helmet's safety is certified by the highest industry standards CE EN 12492 and UIAA 106. The item is available in three distinct sizes to cover every need: size S/M is suitable for a circumference of 48–58 cm and weighs just 153 grams, size M/L fits a circumference of 53–61 cm with a weight of 177 grams, and finally, size L/XL covers a measurement of 53–62 cm tipping the scales at only 183 grams.
