This volume could be subtitled Diary of a curious mountaineer, as the author believes that in an era where mountains are transformed into gyms for leisure, it is essential not to lose curiosity, the desire to delve deeper, and to think. A guide that arises from the pleasure and fun derived from his desire to explore and be curious among the mountains of home, his stone garden, in the area between Lake Lecco and Lake Iseo, through classic routes, forgotten paths, and others that are simply less known. A selection of rock routes whose choice has been influenced by various factors: geographical location, rock quality, overall beauty of the route, bolting, protectability, the purely mountaineering nature, and, necessarily, the emotions they have conveyed. Almost all routes require good mountaineering skills that go beyond the technical grade; logic and intuition in finding the path and the ability to move on rock that is not always sound are crucial qualities for the success of the ascent.
