Kong Mouse Sport climbing helmet mountaineering
Kong Mouse Sport climbing helmet mountaineering is the new helmet made by the Italian company Kong for all mountain enthusiasts.
Designed for mountaineering and climbing, Mouse Sport is also well-suited for via ferrata and adventure parks.
Mouse Sport is comfortable and top-notch in terms of compactness.
It consists of an internal padding made of EPS foam and an ultra-resistant ABS outer shell.
EPS (expanded polystyrene) is a high-density polystyrene and is currently the best element capable of absorbing and isolating an impact, even a violent one.
In the event of a possible impact, the cells of the polystyrene, usually open, react by closing and absorbing the energy released before it can be transmitted to the head. The internal padding is also removable for washing and maintenance. ABS, on the other hand, is a very hard and durable plastic material.
Mouse Sport adjusts quickly and with one hand via the wheel located at the back of the helmet. Through the pre-marked holes, you can attach ear protection and a visor, while the four hooks placed along the perimeter allow you to install a headlamp.
