La Sportiva Cobra Eco climbing shoes
La Sportiva Cobra Eco climbing shoe is the eco-friendly version of the famous slipper from La Sportiva.
This shoe features almost 85% of components made from recycled materials. This is the case for the sole, the strap, and the elastic present on the ankle.
Other materials are considered to have a low environmental impact; a water-based adhesive and metal-free tanned leather are used.
Despite this difference in materials compared to classic shoes, however, there will be no noticeable differences in structure. La Sportiva has indeed managed to create a shoe with excellent performance just like the classic Cobra.
The Cobra Eco has a leather upper that not only provides comfort but also extends its lifespan. However, because it is made of leather, the shoe is destined to stretch quite a bit.
The rubber compound is not the same as the other members of the Cobra family, but this time we are talking about a Frixion Eco sole made with recycled materials that, despite this, is ultra-grippy especially on indoor holds, although slightly stiffer.
