The Helios III by La Sportiva is a men's trail running shoe designed for those seeking maximum performance in training and running on hard terrains and off-road paths. This "door to trail" model stands out for its extraordinary lightness, weighing only 220 grams (half pair), and for a breathable upper made from a technical mix of rip-stop fabric, monobava mesh, and sandwich mesh with thermo-adhesive TPU reinforcements. The fit, derived from the renowned Helios SR, is extremely comfortable and snug, thanks also to the soft collar equipped with 3D Foam pads that ensure immediate comfort. To provide maximum protection without adding weight to the structure, a shaped thermo-formed toe cap has been included to shield against frontal impacts, while the heel counter prevents uncomfortable crushing during wear. Impact management is handled by an injection-molded EVA midsole with MorphoDynamic technology, complemented by the Cushioning Platform insert that enhances cushioning properties on all types of roughness. The outsole uses the high-durability FriXion Blue compound, ideal for resisting wear on rocks and hard surfaces, supported by the Impact Brake System for superior traction. Completing the technical profile is the 4 mm Ortholite Hybrid Mountain Running insole and a focus on sustainability with the use of 100% recycled laces, all in a completely Vegan Friendly construction with a 4 mm drop for a natural and fast roll.
