La Sportiva Trango Tower Extreme GTX trekking and mountaineering boots
La Sportiva Trango Tower Extreme GTX is a fully crampon-compatible boot made of Gore-Tex, ideal for mountaineering, ice climbing, and mixed conditions.
The most technical boot in the Trango line, it maintains the main characteristic of the series: reduced weight for a decrease in volume in the exclusive La Sportiva Cube Vibram sole. This is also equipped with a cushioning system called Impact Brake System, which softens the impact on the ground due to the presence of certain lugs in the sole that touch the ground first.
The upper retains the typical and appealing aesthetic of the Trango line. Here we also find an extremely durable material that is interspersed, in the areas most subject to abrasion, with inserts made of mono-filament that create a system called Honey-Comb Guard.
The Gore-Tex membrane present, Insulated Comfort, is of course waterproof but also very breathable and, importantly, provides excellent thermal insulation. This is why they are boots that can be used even in low temperatures.
Equipped with the 3D-Flex System, a softer fabric joint at the ankle that supports the ankle on rough trails while facilitating walking.
Compatible with all types of automatic crampons as they can be fitted both at the toe and heel.
