The Skysolo FX.One Carbon from Leki is a fixed-length and foldable mountaineering pole, specifically designed for expeditions on the highest mountains in the world and high-altitude adventures. This four-section model has been developed and tested in collaboration with prominent climbers, combining extraordinary lightness with high structural stability thanks to cylindrical profile-less tubes made entirely of PRC 1000 carbon with diameters of 16 and 14 mm. One of its distinctive features is the Verticon dual-density foam grip, a particularly slim solution that combines the ergonomics of the Aergon series with the lightness of the Spartan line; the grip weighs just 28 grams including the strap and offers a wide gripping surface to ensure maximum comfort and control during the descent after many meters of elevation change. To move easily on steeper terrain or along slopes, the pole is equipped with an additional single-density foam grip extension that allows for a lower and more comfortable grip. The PAS grip system integrates the individually adjustable D-Loop Mesh Strap, a ring borrowed from the trail running world that is ultra-lightweight, shape-retaining, highly breathable, and quick-drying in one size. Designed for experienced hikers and for intensive uses such as trekking, alpine hiking, and mountaineering, the pole adopts the External Locking Device folding system that allows for quick opening and closing by pressing a simple button, while benefiting from a special reinforcement structure around the release mechanism to increase stability. The lower part is equipped with a robust short Flex Tip for precise use of the pole and impeccable grip on almost all types of terrain, supported as standard by the compact Nordic basket that prevents sinking in soft surfaces and can be manually replaced with the included large-diameter Tour basket, ideal for threading Leki tips. The package also includes a practical ultra-lightweight storage bag specifically designed to hold the folded poles while minimizing bulk.
