Ortovox Alu 240 is a lightweight, essential, and super intuitive avalanche probe, perfect for beginner ski mountaineers!
Made of aluminum in 6 sections of 40 cm and with a diameter of 11 mm, it weighs only 200 g and has an overall length of 2.4 m. Each section is equipped with a clearly readable numerical indication and a clear depth marking to optimize the shoveling strategy.
The quick-lock tensioning system allows you to extend the probe easily and quickly. In just a few seconds, it is ready for use and can be released and folded just as quickly. Thanks to the adjustment screw, you can easily and quickly adjust the tension.
