Petzl Absorbica-Y Tie-Back double lanyard with integrated energy absorber

The Petzl ABSORBICA-Y TIE-BACK is a double lanyard with integrated TIE-BACK intermediate rings and a compact energy absorber, designed for vertical progression on very large structures and for overcoming intermediate anchors, suitable for users weighing from 60 to 140 kg. The TIE-BACK rings allow wrapping around large-section structures and provide easily accessible attachment points for rescuers even if the user remains suspended after a fall. In the event of a fall, the absorber activates through the progressive tearing of the webbing, reducing the stopping forces. The compact design of the absorber and the elastic arms ensure minimal bulk and freedom of movement. The absorber is protected by a durable fabric cover, with easily openable ends to facilitate inspection. There are two connection options to the harness: for frequent use with a carabiner held in position by the STRING or MICRO SWIVEL accessory, or for a semi-permanent connection with a RING OPEN or SWIVEL OPEN to avoid twisting.
