The Bm'D from Petzl is a lightweight, asymmetrical carabiner with high strength, made of aluminum to reduce the weight of equipment during work at height. Thanks to its characteristic D shape, it is particularly suitable for connecting descenders or positioning lanyards, ensuring exceptional operational versatility. Safety is guaranteed by the Triact-Lock automatic locking system with triple-action opening and a reinforced sleeve that offers superior resistance, both frontally and laterally, on the lever. The fluid internal design reduces the risk of stable points, facilitating the rotation of the connector, while the Keylock system prevents accidental snagging during delicate maneuvers. The structure features an H profile that ensures the best strength-to-weight ratio and protects the technical markings from abrasion. The Bm'D boasts high-level mechanical performance with a strength of 32 kN on the major axis, 16 kN on the minor axis, and 10 kN with the lever open, weighing only 105 g. It can be paired with the Captiv bar to favor loading on the major axis and make it integral to the device, minimizing the risk of rolling. Certified according to major international standards (CE EN 362, ANSI Z359.12, NFPA 2500, among others), this carabiner with an 18 mm opening is also available in black and is covered by a 3-year warranty.
