Petzl Contact 9.8 mm climbing rope
Petzl Contact 9.8 dynamic climbing rope is an excellent compromise between lightness and strength. Contact is an extremely manageable single rope. Thanks to its excellent handling, both rope maneuvers and the use of devices are facilitated.
Among the treatments, we have EverFlex designed to stabilize the fibers, make the rope more uniform, and ensure excellent handling and consistent manageability over time. We also have the ClimbReady winding designed to make the rope ready for use.
To facilitate maneuvers, Contact is also provided with a Middle Mark marking.
UltraSonic Finish is a finishing treatment using ultrasound and consists of joining the ends of the core and sheath. Thanks to this particular treatment, you have a longer rope lifespan and reduce the risk of breaking its ends.
