Take your belay game to the next level. Neox, the 2024 novelty from Petzl, is a belay device with assisted braking for the gym and crag.

Optimized for lead climbing, thanks to the integrated wheel in the device that allows for smooth rope flow to give slack to the climber even more easily and quickly.

It features the classic belay comfort of Petzl, which, thanks to the assisted braking with cam, in case of a fall or rest of the climber, the rope tightens, the wheel locks, then the cam rotates and tightens the rope to secure it.

It is easy to use: the simplicity of rope installation, thanks to the markings engraved on the belay device - a technique common to all Petzl belay devices - is based on guiding the rope into the device and maintaining a permanent hand on the braking side of the rope.
The assisted braking with cam ensures a high tolerance of the hand position on the braking side, regardless of the angle between the climber's rope and the braking side rope.

Compatible with all dynamic single ropes from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for ropes with a diameter between 8.9 and 10.5 mm.

With Neox, the descent control, thanks to the ergonomic handle, gives you a comfortable grip and ease of rope release.

Don't forget the 3:1 gear ratio of the handle for better control of rope flow with smaller diameters and less effort on the handle for larger rope diameters.
