Petzl Pixa 2 headlamp
The Pixa 2 headlamp from Petzl is a very robust lamp and, thanks to its various modes of use, also versatile. Depending on the needs, it adapts both for close-up vision (for manual work) and for movement. The Constant Lighting technology ensures that the Pixa 2's performance is not affected by the battery charge level. The Pixa 2 reaches a maximum power of 80 lumens. The selection of lighting modes is done via a convenient dial located on the side of the head. The Pixa 2 is also waterproof, shock-resistant, and resistant to chemical agents.
Also available in the Pixa 3 and Pixa 3R (rechargeable) versions.
The company Petzl was founded by two speleologists, Fernand Petzl and Pierre Chevalier. Together, they brought numerous innovations to their discipline and to sport climbing. In 1968, they began producing the first descenders, and in 1975, the Petzl brand officially entered the market. The company, founded in France, has always focused on research, development, and innovation; it was Petzl who invented the GRIGRI in 1991, the first self-braking belay device. In 2014, new branches were opened in Spain and Germany.
