Description
The Tiptop Steel by Petzl is a robust belay carabiner specifically designed for intensive use in indoor climbing gyms. This model combines a high-strength steel body with an aluminum lever, engineered to provide climbers with the same natural feel in clipping typical of a classic quickdraw. The large 23 mm lever opening facilitates rope insertion, while the wide and rounded design of the sliding area protects the integrity of the rope itself, reducing wear. The structure features an H-profile that ensures an optimal balance between strength and lightness, while also protecting the identification markings from abrasion. For indoor facility operators, installation is immediate on existing anchors via a quick link, and inventory management is simplified thanks to the individual identification system. With an exceptional strength of 28 kN on the major axis and 20 kN with the lever open, the Tiptop Steel ensures a longer lifespan and reduced maintenance. The product is CE EN 12275 type T and UIAA certified, and is sold in a convenient pack of ten pieces to meet the needs of climbing gyms.
