The Raumer stainless steel anchoring system consists of a 10 mm Rock stainless steel plate, a round coupling ring Ø10, and a carabiner R 5000. The inclusion of the carabiner, unlike a simple ring, makes it perfect for rappelling and for belaying from below with the top rope system.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel - Marina version, further resistant to corrosion caused by elements present in marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solution Treatment - Pickling - Passivation. The icon of a stylized fish with the word INOX inside distinguishes this anchor from its standard version. In the end, you will find information about the technology used for this type of products.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of equipment for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, and speleology. Founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner, it has successfully combined his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production takes place in the Vicenza plant.
