This stainless steel anchor from Raumer is among the most appreciated for its versatility. It can be used for mountaineering, climbing, and canyoning. It consists of two resin-coated bolts Superstar Ø10x80mm, one of which is inserted into a Ø10 ring to which a non-removable carabiner is connected R5000. Thanks to this composition, the carabiner is always perpendicular to the rock, allowing descent in both directions.
WARNING: This anchor is made of AISI 316L stainless steel but is also available in the Marine Version, which is further resistant to corrosion from agents present near marine environments. Raumer performs a three-phase treatment for marine stainless steel: Solubilization - Pickling - Passivation. Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of hardware for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, caving. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and caving with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion.
