Item 117.
The plate with M8 Minox screw is designed for speleology, it is lightweight and compact. Minox features a large hole for the carabiner, allowing for greater mobility and the simultaneous insertion of two carabiners. Furthermore, when reaching a belay point and finding yourself with a rope that is too short, it is possible to extend directly to the Minox plate. What we present to you is a renewed version made of AISI 316L stainless steel. This improvement makes the plate much more resistant to corrosion. Below you will find information about the technology used for this type of products.
Raumer is a company based in Schio, in the province of Vicenza, specialized in the production of equipment for various sports: climbing, mountaineering, canyoning, speleology. The company was founded in 1992 by Cesare Raumer, the owner. He has managed to combine his deep passion for mountains, nature, and speleology with mechanical technology. The strength has always been the use of AISI 304 stainless steel in the production of anchors. Currently, following continuous experiences and acquired knowledge, AISI 316L stainless steel is used, which is even more resistant to abrasion. Raumer is therefore synonymous with quality, safety, and above all MADE IN ITALY: the entire production actually takes place in the Vicenza plant.
