SCARPA Origin VS Petrol-Lime climbing shoes
SCARPA Origin VS is a climbing shoe designed for those looking for their first pair of comfortable shoes to use in bouldering.
It is, in fact, the bouldering version of the famous beginner shoe Origin, which features a thin rubber cover on the upper toe to facilitate hooking as well.
The upper is made of soft two-layer microfiber, and the closure is with a single Velcro strap with a gusset that makes it easier to put on.
The midsole, on the other hand, is 1.4 mm thick and covers 3/4 of the length of the foot to help distribute the force along the entire foot. As for the tensioning, the innovative PAF system is a heel construction method that improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon.
