Skylotec Tricky semi-rigid webbing climbing quickdraw

The Tricky by Skylotec is an ingenious system composed of the Nimble Tricky carabiner, a 35 cm semi-rigid polyamide webbing, and the Fixdraw rubber, designed to facilitate the clipping of distant anchors that cannot be reached with just an arm extension. The heart of the system is the Tricky Lever mechanism integrated into the body of the carabiner, which keeps the lever open during the approach and automatically releases it as soon as the system is loaded downwards. This feature makes it a valuable ally in critical passages, allowing for secure attachment with total agility. The webbing is equipped with a lower loop that provides a secure grip for handling the system and easily resetting the movement. Despite its length and semi-rigidity, the Tricky is extremely practical to carry on the harness: the flexibility of the webbing allows it to be halved in size during progression. It is essential to pay attention to the fact that the Tricky is not a progression quickdraw, but a tool for aid climbing; therefore, once the obstacle is overcome, it must be strictly replaced with a standard quickdraw to continue the ascent safely.
