Tenaya Iati climbing shoes
Tenaya Iati is a versatile and high-performance climbing shoe: excellent for hard routes in the crag and for bouldering. Alex Megos cannot go wrong: for Fight Club, the first 9b he opened, he wore Iati and pushed himself along this slightly overhanging slab that has become a masterpiece.
The Tenaya is built with the most advanced technologies available in the production of climbing shoes. The mixed upper of microfiber and leather allows for a combination of key elements in high-level climbing: comfort, responsiveness, and performance. At the same time, the Iati is a very breathable shoe, allowing you to climb even on the hottest days.
The 3.5 mm Vibram XS Grip sole is aggressive enough to give you the necessary push during overhanging moves, but the precise toe also offers a good amount of support on the smallest holds. This is due both to the medium stiffness of the sole and to the midsole created with Rb Range X technology, which ensures responsiveness and power.
The Draxtor closure system is innovative: the strap is adjustable via laces that slide through very thin holes; together with the SXRDynamics tightening system of the sole and shoe structure, the Iati is also ultra-precise in adjustment. Additionally, the double lace can be customized with a unique velcro or with two smaller rectangular velcros for maximum adjustment.
