Vaude Rupal 35+ alpine backpack

Medium-sized mountaineering backpack for climbers on the move year-round in the mountains, high-altitude adventures, skiing trips, or climbing. The Vaude Rupal 35+ alpine backpack features truly impressive versatility: the lightweight and flexible hip belt is detachable. When you are approaching with a heavy load of gear, it ensures a very stable load transfer. When you start climbing with the harness, rope, carabiner, and more in use, it can disappear into the backpack for greater freedom of movement, while the belt buckle continues to securely hold the load close to your body. A large hydration reservoir compartment can accommodate a shovel in winter, while the handle and probe can be secured separately. The ergonomic shoulder straps offer unlimited freedom of movement in the FoM (Freedom of Movement) version, even overhead, for example during climbing. Two adjustable and individually detachable sternum straps allow you to pull the straps inward when necessary, giving the shoulder joints even more space to move. The aluminum frame can be adjusted or removed. Under the height-adjustable lid is a garage for ropes (approx. 5 l of extra volume). On the outside of the alpine backpack, two ice tools and a helmet can be attached. The side pockets and compression straps provide support for skis or trekking poles. You can attach additional tools with two fabric straps with loops.
