Versante Sud Arco Walls Vol. 1 English version, classic, modern, and sport routes in the Sarca Valley is in its fourth edition written by Diego Filippi.
The great novelty of this edition is the expansion of the area from Lake Garda to the Valley of Lakes and 23 new sectors.
Arco Walls offers you a total of 260 new routes, all to be discovered, and when added to the 520 from the previous edition, you have 780 routes distributed across 33 sectors.
Given the amount of material, the author decided to divide the work into two volumes, presenting in this first volume the area that includes the lower Sarca Valley, the walls that overlook the plain of Arco and Lake Garda.
In particular, the areas covered are Arco, Torbole, Val di Ledro, Tenno, Padaro, Dro.
The guide is accompanied by the author's drawings, updated for the occasion, accurate historical and logistical notes, and a comprehensive assessment of the beauty and difficulty of the route.
The author, Diego Filippi, is from Trentino, an expert on the Sarca Valley, and to write this guide, he also relied on the stories and testimonies of historical and current climbers who shared their experiences in these stunning mountains.
