Wild Country Friend 0.75 climbing friend
The latest innovation in climbing friends is the New Friend from Wild Country. This two-axis friend with a single stem, available in six sizes, takes inspiration from the first friend invented in the 1970s by the genius Mark Vallance. The operation of this tool is enhanced by the construction in hot-forged lightweight alloy 6082, which, along with the unique design of the cams and axes (levers), contributes to making the friend extremely lightweight. The double axes allow for optimal movement of the friend to increase placement capacity. The 12 mm dyneema sling can be used single to extend the protection or doubled to increase tensile strength.
