Thanks to the pre-loaded Garmin TopoActive Europe maps, you can plan activities throughout Europe, moving safely and knowing exactly and at all times your position and the direction to follow to reach your goal. You can also download BirdsEye satellite maps directly to your device without an annual subscription, so you can get an idea of the territory in advance, easily find routes, points of interest and much more.
The possibility of accessing multiple international navigation satellite systems (GPS and GLONASS) allows you to acquire an extremely precise position even in the most remote areas. You will also be able to have access, via subscription, to the Iridium satellite network which guarantees 100% coverage everywhere thanks to which you will have the certainty of being able to communicate, send messages, ask for SOS and share your position with those at home. ABC sensors (altimeter for altitude data, barometer to monitor weather conditions and 3-axis electronic compass) instead guide you and give you a series of essential information.
One of these is the weather, thanks to which you will be able to access forecasts and the weather radar in real time. You can also use inReach connectivity to get detailed updates, request weather forecasts for your current location, waypoints or destinations on your route.
