The G12 LT New-Matic Evo by Grivel is a lightweight semi-automatic crampon made of steel with 12 points, designed for classic and technical mountaineering as well as glacier excursions, representing the latest evolution of the legendary model celebrated worldwide as the "King of Crampons." Its proven 12-point structure ensures extraordinarily stable and secure traction on snowy, icy, or mixed surfaces, providing optimal stability and safe movement in highly variable alpine conditions. The refined LT construction minimizes the overall weight of the frame through optimized material thickness, a technical solution that excellently preserves structural durability under repeated use. The structure under the sole is expertly designed to balance flexibility and support, and to prevent the risk of slipping, it features an integrated proactive Antibott system at the front and rear that drastically reduces snow accumulation. This model utilizes the New-Matic Evo attachment system (marked NM), characterized by a flexible plastic front cage and a rear locking lever, perfect for all mountain boots equipped with a quick attachment insert located solely at the heel. The crampon weighs 861 grams per pair, adjusts to fit footwear sizes 36 to 47, and is fully certified CE EN 893 and UIAA 153.
