This premium shell combines the exceptional waterproofness and breathability of the new GORE-TEX ePE Pro 3-layer fabric with an innovative design tailored for long high-altitude journeys. The outer fabric, made from 80-denier recycled nylon, is extremely robust yet flexible, treated with a PFAS-free DWR water-repellent finish to repel snow and rain without impacting the environment. The hood is fully compatible with a helmet and features a two-point adjustment with Cohaesive® cord locks, along with a special internal seal that retains heat and shields against wind. The waterproof bi-directional front zip allows quick access to the harness ring, while the large underarm openings enable ventilation adjustment during intense efforts without the jacket riding up while climbing.
