The Men's Latok Mountain GORE-TEX Pro Jacket by Rab is a high-performance, three-layer waterproof jacket designed to tackle the most severe conditions during mountaineering, technical trekking, and long days in the mountains. This versatile shell utilizes GORE-TEX Pro technology with an innovative ePE membrane that is free of fluorocarbons, offering total protection of 28,000 mm water column. The hybrid construction is designed to maximize durability: a more robust 80D (131 gsm) fabric is used on the shoulders and sleeves, resistant to the continuous abrasion of backpack straps, while the rest of the torso is made from 40D (98 gsm) fabric to ensure greater mobility, breathability, and reduced bulk. Designed to maintain comfort even on the steepest trails and in adverse weather, the jacket integrates a RECCO® reflector to facilitate rescue operations in emergencies. The technical design features a highly protective adjustable hood that can be operated with one hand, articulated sleeves that allow raising the arms without the jacket riding up, and a two-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip with a fleece-lined chin guard and snap closure at the bottom.
