Grivel G10 Wide is a crampon made entirely of steel, with 10 total points with the front part wider than the classic model.
This model is therefore perfect for those who practice snowboarding or telemarking and therefore have a bit more bulky shoes.
It is available in two different versions depending on crampon ability: the New Classic model features the classic cages both in the front and in the back, so as to be compatible with all boots on the market. The New Matic version, on the other hand, is the so-called semi-cramponable version. It is therefore compatible with all semi-crampon-capable boots, therefore equipped with a plastic notch in the heel area.
Grivel puts all its experience in the production of crampons into this G10. In fact, we are talking about one of the best known companies in this sector that has given life to an absolutely light and functional product.
The tips are all toothed to better anchor the ice and there are 10 total, two of which are placed at the tip.
