Grivel Shield is a small polypropylene disc to be attached to the back of your climbing harness. Its shape and semi-rigid consistency allow you to protect your lower spine from the potential trauma of a fall while climbing. The Shield in fact absorbs, with its honeycomb structure, the force of the impact discharged onto the harness. It is also able to protect against impacts against the rock in the affected area. Very light and very comfortable to use.
Not applicable to harnesses with the strap already high.
