The variety of climbing styles that we can find in Greece alike welcomes fans of slabs and overhangs, technical climbing on small holds and endurance styles on long pole routes. In Kalymnos you can experience an unforgettable vertical experience in the company of other climbers like you, combining relaxation and fun on the beach and sea with a typical climbing trip!

Course program
This trip is aimed at those who already have a minimum experience on rock and intend to improve their climbing both for the technical and mental aspects. At the end you will have improved the: - Basic climbing techniques: balance positions, basic progression and triangle. - Advanced climbing techniques: lateral progression, internal / external balance, heel hooks and hooks. - Insurance methods, use of safety devices and climbing nodes. - Top-rope and lead climbing. - Balance, fluidity of movements and use of the feet. - Fall management. - Climbing on difficult and overhanging terrain. - Communication at the crag. - Cleaning of the street and equipment.
YOUR ITINERARY
DAY 1 – KALYMNOSAfter having a short briefing, we head to the first cliffs and begin to get acquainted with the rock of the island.
DAY 2, 3, 4 – KALYMNOSDuring the course days the mornings will be dedicated to theoretical and practical didactic insights in the various crags in the area: Masouri, Arginonta, Telendos and Palionisios. Together we will review and perfect the belaying and climbing techniques, getting to the heart of the course themes from the first day. We will be surrounded by cliffs overlooking the sea characterized by reed limestone walls, where we will also be able to test our level of strength, resistance and continuity. In the afternoons, at the discretion of the participants, it will be possible to indulge in a bit of beach or go back to making other attempts on the routes still to be closed! We will try many routes both top-rope and first, noting the differences both from the mental aspect and from the technical and safety aspect. Each climber will be given feedback on strengths and points to work on, as well as many tips to be able to best express their resources.

EQUIPMENT AND LUGGAGE
Participants must bring personal climbing equipment: shoes, harness, helmet and chalk bag. The Alpine Guide will provide participants with common material such as ropes, quickdraws, belayers and any fast protections. To optimize travel and available space, the use of a medium-large backpack (approximately 50L) and not rigid luggage is required.

Deposit of 10% of the travel price.
Balance within 30 days from the start of the trip.

Common purse
At the beginning of the trip, the Guide will collect a common purse among the participants which will be used to cover the common expenses of the group (petrol, tourist taxes, parking, tolls, etc.).
At the end of the trip the remaining amount of the common fund will be redistributed to the participants.

Eat and sleep
In Kalymnos our base camp will be in one of the characteristic Studios of the Island. For meals we will take advantage of the many seafront restaurants that offer Greek and international cuisine at very affordable prices to climbers from all over the world who frequent them.
