Petzl Griptape nastro adesivo per piccozza è un nastro isolante con il quale puoi fasciare l'impugnatura della piccozza (tipo la Nomic, o la Quark) per aumentare la presa quando usi la piccozza per le salite in verticale. Allo stesso tempo il nastro funziona anche come isolante termico.
Per il Griptape, dopo aver rimosso la parte bianca, si procede dal basso con la nastratura avendo cura di sovrapporre ad ogni giro il nastro sullo strato inferiore per circa metà superficie; il nastro è un auto saldante, quindi senza colla, va leggermente tenuto in tensione durante la nastratura in modo che il nastro faccia "grip" su se stesso. La parte finale va chiusa con uno o due giri di nastro isolante o da elettricista.
