DAY 1 – CAGLIARI > CALA GONONE

The meeting with the guide and the rest of the group will be at the station in Cagliari at 3 pm Just enough time to get to know each other and we will be ready to move to the first destination of the week: the beautiful Cala Gonone. Once we arrive at our destination we will settle down in the accommodation, ready for the first day of climbing.

DAY 2 – CALA GONONE

After breakfast we will reach the enchanting cliffs on the beach of Cala Gonone. A day of climbing awaits us in one of the most popular sites in our country, both for the landscape and for the streets on limestone worked by the sea and the wind. We will go to see the Flintstones crag on a wonderful limestone that adorns the slabs with good holds and drops that give us routes from the easiest grades up to 6c. The bolting of the routes is excellent and the exposure is pleasantly to the north-east!

DAY 3 – CALA GONONE

An entire day dedicated to climbing the countless walls of Cala Gonone and Dorgali: slabs and overhangs with reeds, the possibility of different exposures depending on the climate and difficulty for each level will make this experience unforgettable, and incredibly photogenic. Among the cliffs that we will have the opportunity to visit there will also be "La Poltrona", an incredible limestone amphitheater perfect with routes suitable for both beginner and expert climbers, which also represents an important part of the history of climbing in Sardinia, hosting the first 8a of the region. The routes are on a supported slab, fully bolted and newly equipped to allow you the safest and most reliable rock climbing experience!

DAY 4 – CALA GONONE

Another whole day to spend on the rock! We will go to the discovery of Monte Bonacoa, a limestone cliff in a wonderful landscape, particularly suitable for beginner and intermediate levels up to 6c. The slabs worked in drops were bolted for a total of about thirty routes that are divided between the two faces of the wall. The bucolic and silent context will give us total relaxation, climbing on wonderful routes, admiring the sea in the distance.

DAY 5 – CALA GONONE > SULCIS

In the morning transfer with our minibus towards Sulcis Iglesiente (about three hours), where in the afternoon we will dedicate ourselves to the knowledge of these wonderful cliffs overlooking the sea. Masua, Castello dell’Iride, is a spectacular cliff above the sea, which offers shots on a perfect limestone rock worked in drops for intermediate levels. We will have the opportunity to climb on aerial routes with unparalleled exposure, taking advantage of the fantastic southern exposure and very different climbing styles. If the weather and the temperature allow it, we will take the opportunity to take a swim on the beautiful beach of Masua.

DAY 6 – SULCIS

A day totally dedicated to the rock of southern Sardinia. We will go to visit the Canyon of San Nicolò which is divided into various sectors, between more overhanging limestone walls and more vertical walls. The canyon naturally manages to have various exposures and routes of different lengths, from the shorter and boulderous ones, to the more technical medium-length slabs. Also recommended for beginners, it gives some more satisfaction to those who bring steel fingers with them!

DAY 7 – SULCIS

On this last day we will be able to visit other cliffs or return to close the routes tried the day before, depending on the preferences of the group, the weather and the exposure! Caves, stone towers and breathtaking landscapes will give us spoiled for choice! Among the various options we can decide on, Domusnovas represents an area with more than twenty cliffs and almost six hundred routes: it goes without saying that here we will be able to find practically every level of difficulty, inclination and climbing style. The perfect place to treat yourself to the latest vertical emotions on our trip to Sardinia!

DAY 8 – SULCIS > CAGLIARI

The time has come to say goodbye and make an appointment for another vertical experience! Breakfast at the hotel followed by transfer to Cagliari airport for return flights. Arrival at the airport is scheduled for 11 am.
