Surfaces For Climbing Progression climbing training beam contains the wrinkles and irregularities of polyurethane, all the passion and energy of the Spanish climber and creator of the beam, Eva Lopez.
The beam is the result of Eva's years of work, experience and research with the collaboration of more than 100 climbers who have tested the holds at various depths, sweating and struggling, climbing on the notches of motivation and self-knowledge.
Eva Lopez designs eight notches, respectively 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 mm deep, designed for that slice of climbers who want to go further and know their limits. Eva Lopez offers you the opportunity to train your prehension with outstretched fingers, softening and rounding overly aggressive grips or just some parts, using sandpaper. It is clear that once rounded, you will never be able to go back!
"Progression" is the key concept of this beam, ie improvement, increase, development. Eva Lopez concretizes these objectives by proposing a periodized training program.
Periodicity is an important aspect when you start your strength training and it is what allows you to improve thanks to changes and new stimuli.
By training the resistance force you increase the maximum force and, conversely, by training the maximum force, you increase the resistance force.
By alternating both periodically, you will achieve sustainable improvements over time.
