Tenaya Mundaka climbing shoes for high-performance bouldering. They are the most aggressive ones from the Spanish brand, with a curvature that allows for a lot of push when the situation gets overhanging.
Mundaka's great achievement is the ability to combine low pressure on the toe with a highly advanced force distribution. Similarly, the heel is tensioned by a rubber band that wraps around it, allowing for aggressive heel hooks.
The RB Range X technology creates a tensioning system between the 3.5mm Vibram XS Grip sole and midsole, keeping the whole dynamic and responding to the slightest weight shift of the body by adapting the shoe to the foot.
The upper of the shoe is made of cotton with TXT treatment and is really soft!
The Draxtor closure system is innovative: the strap is adjustable via the laces, which slide through very small holes; together with the SXRDynamics system for tightening the sole and shoe structure, the Iati is also ultra-precise in adjustment. Moreover, the double lacing can be customized with a single Velcro or with two smaller rectangular Velcros for maximum adjustment.
