Atomic Count XTD is a ski mountaineering helmet designed in every detail to make it comfortable, safe, and adaptable to every type of head.
Equipped with the RECCO system, Count XTD can be located in case of an avalanche by mountain rescue. However, please note that the RECCO system should not be considered a substitute for the ARVA locator but an additional protection.
Its In-Mold Dual Shell structure offers all the advantages that the classic In-Mold structure provides, such as resistance, solidity, and lightness, with the added benefit of 360° lateral protection: in fact, the helmet is literally cut in two, the upper and lower parts, specifically to protect the head from every angle.
Additionally, in the area of the shell, we find a special technology called Holo Core that uses a material similar to that of egg cartons to create an absorption zone. This perfectly cushions impacts and protects against vertical impacts (30% more than a normal helmet).
The Reflective Strap Station system is a reflective locking system that keeps the headlamp or goggles in place without the elastic twisting.
As for the fit, it has been perfectly designed to be adaptable to everyone. With the Live Fit system, this helmet is adjustable to 360°: it adapts to the size of the head thanks to a comfortable dial at the back, but it also conforms to the shape as soon as you wear it, and it is also adjustable in height!
