Atomic N Backland 85 UL ski for alpine skiing is aimed at those looking for a lightweight and high-performance downhill ski that works well on any type of snow.
This model is the widest in the Backland UL line and, thanks to the HRZL Tech Tip technology, it is also equipped with a tip characterized by a wide thickness.
This feature allows the skier to float on fresh snow with less tip flex and to control the ski perfectly.
Another important technology is the All Mountain Rocker designed to ensure a slight upward tilt of the tips, making the ski perform well on any type of snow.
N Backland 85 UL is characterized by a core made of poplar and carob wood, which are materials with a very low weight; all covered by a thin layer of carbon adopted to provide resistance to wear and impacts without sacrificing its lightness.
For optimal and controlled energy transmission, a special Cap Sidewall insert has been placed under the binding.
