BD Black Diamond Frontpoint Gaiter snow gaiters
BD Black Diamond Frontpoint Gaiter are ideal gaiters for ice climbing. Made waterproof with a Gore-Tex upper, Frontpoint are high gaiters that close with straps at the front and a drawstring at the top.
The adjustment at the ankle is made with a nickel-plated strap to increase durability.
Their fit is snug to properly wrap around the boot.
Note: the size has nothing to do with the size of the boot but only with the length of the gaiter itself!
The measurement of the gaiter should be taken from the ankle to where the calf ends (the bend of the knee).
For gaiters with a range of sizes, such as the Ferrino Nordend (click here to view the product), size S/M is for under 42 cm and L/XL is for over 42.
However, if you have very muscular calves, it is better to opt for a larger size than measured.
