Description
The Infinity Cord by Black Diamond represents the new technological evolution for belay maneuvers and anchoring systems. This cord is constructed using an innovative technique that involves a core of continuous dynex filaments wrapped around themselves to form a closed loop, eliminating the need for stitching or bar tacks. The result is an exceptionally compact, lightweight cord (only 32 g for the 120 cm version) that is easy to untie even after experiencing a high load. The outer sheath made of a dynex/nylon blend ensures extreme abrasion resistance and durability. With a diameter of only 4.5 mm but a breaking strength of over 22 kN, the Infinity Cord offers a superior level of safety and practicality, provided it is never cut, as its strength lies in its continuous construction.
