An ultralight softshell designed to protect weight-conscious climbers from gusts of wind along ridges and light weather conditions, the Black Diamond Alpine Start Hoody features a Schoeller stretch-woven fabric that offers highly breathable weather resistance and is easily packable. An updated silhouette provides greater freedom of movement, allowing you to continue climbing even in windy and cold conditions. The elastic band on the hood, cuffs, and hem retains warmth and ensures a secure fit, while the drop hem is harness-compatible.
