Beal Opera 8.5 mm Unicore Golden Dry climbing rope
Beal Opera 8.5 mm is a single rope certified also as half and twin. Ultra-lightweight, fluid, and versatile, it is recommended for experienced climbers when used as a single.
This product encompasses the most important technologies marked by Beal. It is, in fact, equipped with Unicore technology that bonds the core and sheath together. This ensures that the two components remain united in case of tearing.
The Golden Dry is a waterproof treatment applied to the sheath and core of the rope to make it more resistant to moisture, abrasion, and dust. It performs well on snow and high-level routes.
Additionally, the Beal Opera benefits from Thermo Fluid, an infrared treatment that stabilizes the fibers of the sheath, making the rope more compact and manageable.
