BD Black Diamond Camalot Z4 0.75 climbing friend
The BD Black Diamond Camalot Z4 is an excellent climbing friend.
Developed in collaboration with renowned athletes such as Hazel Findlay, Carlo Traversi, Sam Elias, and Babsi Zangerl, the Z4 addresses a significant need that all experienced climbers have faced.
The Z4 features a single stem that incorporates a unique patented technology called RigidFlex. This allows the stem to remain rigid when the friend is under tension or retracting, while it bends when placed on a rock.
Once positioned, the stem moves without slipping the levers of the friend: it stays exactly where you put it.
For larger sizes, the stem has a double woven cable structure that allows for even more uniform flexing. However, for smaller sizes, the construction is a single cable that has been reinforced to ensure exceptional safety.
Finally, the thickness of the head is very similar to the older Camalot C3 models.
