Black Diamond Hotforge Hybrid Quickpack set climbing quickdraws
The Black Diamond HotForge Hybrid Quickpack is a set that includes six 12 cm hybrid quickdraws, designed to combine the fluidity of clipping with the practicality of a wire gate. Each quickdraw features a HotForge upper carabiner with a keylock anti-snag system, designed to facilitate passing through the bolt, and a classic HotWire wire gate lower carabiner, lightweight and easy to clip. The latter is colored to provide a clear visual reference during climbing.
Connecting the carabiners is an 18 mm polyester Dogbone sling, durable and comfortable to hold, which integrates the Straitjacket insert to keep the lower carabiner securely in the optimal position for rope clipping. Made in Taiwan, the set offers a closed gate strength of 24 kN (5,395 lbf). In terms of materials, the product is composed of 53% 7075 aluminum (which contains 25% pre-consumer recycled aluminum), 29% polyester, 7% steel, 5% TPU, and 1% nylon.
