Blue Ice Choucas climbing and ski mountaineering harness
Blue Ice Choucas is a harness for ski mountaineering and alpine climbing that is minimalist and lightweight. This new version, the IV, is even lighter than the previous ones: de2 g!
The entire structure is made of Dyneema (both the waist belt and the leg loops are straps) but the variable width allows for comfortable wear despite the lightness. Additionally, the waist strap has been slightly raised to provide a higher level of comfort.
The four gear loops are complemented by two slots for ice screw carabiners at the waist, and you can also find two more on the leg loops.
The leg loops are adjustable and openable with aluminum adjustment buckles. This allows you to wear the harness even if you have skis or crampons on your feet.
It’s incredible how small it can become: the package in which you can fold and store it is the size of a fist.
