CAMP Skimo Total Race automatic crampons
The automatic crampon Skimo Total Race by CAMP is designed for ski mountaineering competitions and encapsulates all the experience of the Italian company in the field of competitions, winner of the ISPO Award 2018.
Skimo Total Race is a lightweight ten-point crampon (290 g without anti-balling), made of aluminum, compactable, and innovative. Every technical detail is designed to make it even lighter and improve your performance in terms of speed.
The lacing system is innovative and free of heel pieces and the classic front bar.
CAMP replaces the classic front bar with a new T-Stop front fastening system: it is a stable and secure step positioned at the front that facilitates, simplifies, and resolves fastening issues on the boot. Once the stop is adjusted, changes in position will be very quick.
Skimo Total Race also adapts to boots without a front step: you just need to replace the T-Stop front stop with a front hook, available separately and optional (click here to view the product).
The connecting rod with a double row of holes offers you incredible precision in length adjustment, and again you can replace it with the dyneema strap, available separately (click here to view the product).
The Skimo Total Race crampons also have a Clip-in rear attachment system, with pins that make fastening to the boots easy and quick.
The crampon comes supplied with a set of keys for adjusting the front stop and length, with only a front anti-balling to lighten the crampon as much as possible for race use, case included.
