CAMP XLC Nanotech automatic crampons are a valuable made in Italy product designed for technical mountaineering, mixed climbing, and ice climbing, featuring a structure with twelve sharp and thin points for effective penetration in the snow.
Following the path of innovation, CAMP creates a truly "futuristic" crampon characterized by an aluminum alloy structure with Sandvik Nanoflex® steel inserts on the front points. The Sandvik Nanoflex® steel alloy resists corrosion and has a mechanical strength and toughness that is 60% higher than traditional steels, allowing for a reduction in thickness and weight.
The result is amazing; with CAMP XLC Nanotech, you have the lightness of an aluminum crampon and the best performance due to the front points made of steel, an extraordinary combination of strength, lightness, and durability.
The automatic version ensures the best possible attachment on boots that have notches to accommodate the front metal cage and the adjustable heel attachment lever. An adjustable strap will help you not to lose the crampon in case of accidental release.
They are also available in semi-automatic version for boots that allow for crampon compatibility both at the heel and at the toe. CAMP XLC Nanotech allows you to face unexpected challenges due to technical difficulties.
